A few days ago, the lovely Ace over at Life in Dutch, nominated me to participate in this competition. I read about the Capture the Color contest and thought it sounded like such a fun idea! Bloggers are to post photos from their travel or everyday lives that best highlight the five colors: red, yellow, green, blue and white. They should also nominate five other bloggers to participate and use the hashtag #CTC13 on social media. I admit to not being the best photog, but thought it would be fun to join in and luckily, I found some photos I thought worth sharing!
RED
25 de Abril Bridge - 25th largest suspension bridge in the world that connects Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, to Almada on the south bank of the Tejo River.
YELLOW
Fall colors in Germany taken along a stretch of road on the way to Manderscheid, Germany.
GREEN
Here are the rolling green hills, covered in vineyards, along The Mosel River. The photo overlooks the village of Longuich located in the Rheinland-Pfalz state near Trier, Germany’s oldest city.
BLUE
The night sky over the city in Lisbon, Portugal taken from our hotel balcony.
WHITE
Torre de Belém, Lisbon Portugal - This tower was built on a small island near the Lisbon shore in the early 16th century as part of a defense system initiated by King Jon II.
